Mr. Dozat’s insight for this issue’s fun pages!

Here is Issue 110 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY for your family and ministry.

I am excited to share this issue with you. I hope you like it and can use it. It has a lot of great verses for kids and adults. It was a lot of work! I must be crazy for making these!

It took me a long time to get excited about this issue. When I work on something, I wait for the arrival of excitement (I am usually a reserved person). However, when my work comes to the place where I am excited, I feel that I have finally entered into a partnership with the Lord on something. It is as if He has accepted my work as an offering and as an act of worship. All work is worship, and doing your work well is high worship to Him who gives life, intelligence, and the will to do good in His name.

After my son, Dave, found some mistakes and my wonderful wife made some suggestions, it all came together. This issue went from being a mountain to climb to a celebration of God and His marvelous Word. After all, that is the point; the Bible is wonderful and exciting — and even fun! That is why I call these pages BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY. I hope you have fun with this issue and that it helps you to discover something new in God’s beautiful Word.

Briefly, the verses in this issue are Romans 5:1, Thessalonians 5:18, Revelation 22:13, Romans 10:17, 2 Corinthians 8:9, Psalm 100:1, Joshua 1:9, Romans 1:16, Ephesians 2:10, Proverbs 9:10, Romans 8:28, Proverbs 16:9, Psalms 32:7, and 1 John 5:11-13.

I am delighted with some of the art for the coloring pictures. I started by tracing some art from previous projects because I do not have time to create original art. And then I made changes, so I guess it did become kind of original after all. I scanned the art into the computer, changed or cleaned it up, made a few more changes, and then added words. This was a lot of work. I hope that someone who colors these pages will hear God’s Spirit speaking to them through the verse they might never have thought about before.

Remember, you can share these with kids who came to your VBS or Backyard Bible club. Each week, print these out and mail them, with a note, to the attendees. You can give them out after the club meeting as a take-home for that night. You can use them as an alternative to craft time or game time.
