I am delighted to give you issue 150 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY!
The number 150 is a milestone! As I think back on the 149 that led to this issue, I am impressed with how God uses this printable children’s Bible verse mini-magazine.
Recently a friend in my church told me she attended another church for some training and saw copies of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY in clear plastic bags with crayons at the welcome area. I was touched and encouraged. I pray that God uses this to plant the seed of His Word worldwide.
Some of my favorite things about this issue are the pictures I created for it. One is a fun “Find the Difference” activity with two pictures of oil lamps. It is a challenge to make small changes between two simple drawings. Another favorite illustration is a drawing of a tower for the “Dot-to-Dot” activity that illustrates Psalm 18:10. I wish I had more time to work on it, but I still think the results are very nice. I wanted to do something with the Mark 2:17 verse, but it is a long passage for this space, so I minimally designed the art. It will be engaging for many.
The word search puzzles take a surprising amount of time to design, and I try to fit too many words into the puzzle from the verse, but I’ve had positive comments about them in the past. I hope you enjoy them.
When you see the code breaker cryptogram puzzle, you might feel it is too much, but there are many repeated words, making it easy. Besides, I may have given too many clues.
The “Let’s talk about it” questions on each page gives parents and teachers a prompt for discussions.
Be sure to return every week to get the latest issue for your ministry and church.
