Ellicott CIty, MD––Bethany Lane Baptist Church will host “Sword of Truth at Volcano’s Edge,” an original musical theater presentation at 6 pm on June 1 and 2 at their Ellicott City campus.volcano's edge300

Music Minister Sherrie McKay and Angie Johnson wrote the play. The music was written by McKay and Philip Hale. Hale serves as the Assistant Worship Arts Minister at the church’s new Columbia campus.

The play follows the adventure of Paul McKensey and Ellie as they continue their “truth quest,” to return to their father’s kingdom. Their journey takes them to a world beneath the sea and they’re led to a volcanic island controlled by their evil foe, the Black Raven.

The show features special effects, and professional lighting and set design.
