David Hall joined the BCM/D staff as a church services consultant. Hall pastored Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland, for almost a quarter-century before resigning in 2014. He will bring his wealth of experience to assist churches throughout the two-state convention, primarily focusing on the Montgomery and Mid-Maryland Baptist Associations.

Hall grew up in a Christian home and committed his life to Jesus when he was 10 years old. When he was 16, God began to provide opportunities for him to share his testimony and preach.

After graduation from Auburn University, Hall attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he earned a Master of Divinity. That’s also where he met Susan, his wife of 41 years. In 1991, God blessed the couple with their son, Kevin. Hall also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

During Hall’s ministry at Oak Grove Baptist, God blessed the church with over 1200 baptisms and over 7 million dollars given to missions.

Now Hall seeks to be a blessing to other churches. He said he knows the mountains and valleys of life as a pastor and wants to help and encourage pastors throughout the convention.
