Adron Dozat is the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware facility support specialist. Adron oversees the mailroom, purchases supplies, processes printing material, and provides support in whatever is needed, including, “making sure there is some strong coffee to keep us all going!”

He was born in Albany, Calif., and grew up in the San Francisco East Bay Region. He moved to Maryland in 1998.

Adron has worked in a variety of capacities including customer call centers, warehousing, custodial, carpet cleaning, and electronic assembly.

After committing his life to Jesus while in high school, he has served through his church community in a variety of ways from pulling weeds, door-to-door evangelism, preaching at a mission and teaching Sunday school.

In his free time he enjoys painting, drawing and teaching art to homeschool students. He also paints murals. One of his works is the 20-foot long mural at South Columbia Baptist Church’s nursery room.

Adron also enjoys writing. His poetry has been published in magazines since the 80’s. His long-term goal is to publish a collection of Christian poetry. His vision is to write a book people would give as a gift, but that would also have the Gospel interwoven in the poems.
He wants to be part of a greater culture of prayer at the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. He prays for churches and pastors as he goes about his work. He prays over materials or before meetings as he helps set up, seeking God’s blessings for His kingdom. “Sometimes I take the verse of ‘Be still and know I that am God” as my guidance and I just sit and pray for the things we see around here,” Adron said.

Adron and his wife Carolyn have four children, three in college and one who works in food service.
