We would like to invite you to our first annual BCM/D Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, September 22nd from 10am-1pm. The purpose of the Town Hall is to celebrate, communicate and collaborate. Some of you are probably asking: why a Town Hall? We are glad you asked!

First, we believe we need to provide more opportunities for our collective of churches to gather together to celebrate what God has and is doing in our two state, eleven association convention.

Second, we believe we need to have more opportunities to communicate with one another specifically about things that have a direct impact on our convention as a whole. The Town Hall will occur 6 weeks prior to our Annual Meeting, which will be held in Ocean City this year Sunday-Monday, November 6-7th. Our goal is to have all proposed resolutions and proposed changes to our constitution and any other business ready and available to be discussed at the Town Hall. This gives us more time to deliberate and refine these things prior to our Annual Meeting, so we go into it more informed and united.

Third, we believe we need more opportunities to collaborate so that we can work more effectively together. During the Town Hall we will not only discuss resolutions, motions and proposed constitution changes that are designed to help us work more effectively, but we will also hear about other opportunities we have to partner together.

The Town Hall is free of charge and everyone in our convention in invited. Lunch will be provided for those that register but space is limited, so we encourage you to register right away! The event will also be live streamed for those who cannot make it in person.

We will meet at Bethany Church Columbia 6570 Dobbin Rd, Columbia, MD 21045.

We are looking forward to seeing you September 22nd!
