Bachelor of Science, Elementary Education, University of Central Arkansas	Undergraduate studies in Communications Arts Technology/Interactive Technologies, Anne Arundel Community College, Arnold, Md.
A native of Arkansas, Iris worked in the corporate field as a project manager with a real estate development company, as an elementary school teacher, and also owned and operated a desktop publishing business for 10 years. She and her husband, Ken, serve at Boulevard Christian Church in Essex, Md., where he serves as pastor.	Since 1999, Sharon has written for BaptistLIFE, telling the story of what God is doing in churches throughout the multi-state convention. She enjoys doing freelance work for local community newspapers including the Severna Park and Pasadena Voice. Before joining the BaptistLIFE staff, she wrote a column and did some feature writing for the Maryland Gazette. She has also worked in various administrative positions, in commercial real estate, and founded and managed a home school tutorial for 10 years.
