National Lifeway Specialist Landry Holmes will be the keynote speaker at the children’s conference on Feb. 2.

The Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCM/D) from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, at Bethel Baptist Church, in Ellicott City, Md.

National Lifeway Specialist Landry Holmes, the manager of LifeWay Kids Ministry Publishing, will be the keynote speaker. Holmes is a church leader, writer, workshop facilitator and publisher. He also teaches children at his church in Middle Tennessee. He and his wife Janetta are the parents of two adult sons and two daughters-in-law.

BCM/D Children’s Ministry Consultant June Holland said the training would offer eight breakout sessions for teachers leaders, parents, and others involved in children’s ministries. Topics include “confused culture,” special needs, “Worship/God – where, when, what,” a Biblical timeline and other relevant topics. Also, participants will get a preview of this year’s LifeWay Vacation Bible School program, “In The Wild.”

Holland said participants would receive a workbook and there will be time for questions and answers.
