WALDORF, Md.–The Deacon University of the Potomac Baptist Association’s Church Support Ministry Team will present a Deacon Spiritual Leadership conference on Friday, January 12, 6-8:30 p.m., and Saturday, January 13, 2018, 9 a.m.– 1 p.m. at the Church @ St. Charles, located at 136 Stoddert Avenue, Waldorf, MD. 20602.

This leadership training, entitled ““Who Will Lead?”, will be conference style with times for training, discussion, and application. Materials, food, and refreshments are included in price of $25 per attendee.

Fred Caudle, pastor of The Church @ St. Charles, is leading this conference with a passion to show Christ’s model of leadership. It is unlike the world’s impression of leadership … it is the wrong way up to most corporate leadership models – it is rare from beginning to end … yet God has given us the plan through His Son Jesus Christ.  Material background for the conference is built from the classic work of J. Oswald Sanders in Spiritual Leadership, Principles of Excellence for Every Believer, first published over forty years ago.

The conference is for all active deacons, prospective deacons and deacons old and new who need a fresh word from God on leadership in today’s church. Pastors are welcome to come and participate with deacons to work through the Model Leadership Plan.

Reservations and payment can be made by going to www.potomacbaptist.net and clicking on the top right advertisement. You may also call (301) 274-5116 to register.
