CROFTON, Md—First Baptist Church of Crofton will partner with Heritage Baptist Church, Annapolis, to present “Go Sing it On the Mountain,” a Christmas cantata by Pepper Choplin, at both churches, combining choirs for each performance. They’ll sing at Heritage Church on Dec. 11 and FBC Crofton on Dec.18.

FBC Crofton Executive Pastor Keith Hinton will direct the choirs and Ralph Manuel , who serves as executive minister and minister of music at Heritage Baptist Church, will accompany the choirs on the piano.

Hinton said he and Manuel have considered the idea of combining the groups for a special music presentation for some time and he’s thrilled that it’s actually coming to fruition

“We’re looking forward to seeing our choirs work together. There’s a common bond in Christ, and in music,” Hinton said.

“It’s also good to see churches working together. It should be marvelous!” he said.
