Baptist Global Response, Southern Baptist relief/development organization that works closely with the International Mission Board  (IMB), is asking SBC churches to make in-home care kits for use in Sub-Saharan Africa for people with AIDS. Kentucky Baptists helped with the pilot project last year and this summer they are opening it up to any church that wants to participate.

The kits consist of a five-gallon bucket with lid filled with a list of specific items such as sheets, lip balm, multi-vitamins, scrub brush, mild soap, etc.

Packets will be sent out soon to churches. The details are still being worked out and will be ready soon. Watch for information in BaptistLIFE and at www.bcmd.org.
