I believe that the Cooperative Program (CP) is the single most effective method for missions giving.
Did you know that CP giving supports various evangelism efforts, church plants, missions education, domestic and overseas missionaries, the training of future leaders through Baptist seminaries, and many other Christ-centered causes?
In 1925, CP launched. This God-given partnership of missions support is dependent upon individuals, churches, state conventions, and Southern Baptist Convention entities cooperating, working toward a common goal of sharing the Gospel with every person on the planet.
The money you give to CP not only supports local initiatives but also provides support for more than 10,000 missionaries working with the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB).
The bottom line is this — people around the world hear the Gospel and have an opportunity to receive Jesus because of your generosity.
On Sunday, April 25, Cooperative Program Sunday, we will once again turn our attention to this great missions opportunity. To help you promote this day in your church, there are downloadable resources on our website.
The link below, a CP story for April 25, features Mojic and Munko Baldandori, NAMB missionaries who are planting churches in California to reach Mongolians for Christ.
Together we can do more than we can separately. Thank you for your continued support and promotion of the CP.
