LAUREL, Md.—Emmanuel Baptist Church will celebrate Pastor Byron Day’s 25th anniversary of pastoral ministry from 7 to 10 pm on April 15 with a gala celebration honoring Day and his wife, Pamela, at Martins Crossswinds, Greenbelt.
Kettering Baptist Church’s Senior Pastor, Bucas Sterling III, will be the guest speaker for the evening. Guests will also enjoy Emmanuel’s praise dancers and a jazz ensemble. Also, former members Rev. Derrick Dawkins and his wife Valerie will sing a duet.
Tickets will be sold after the 8 and 11 am church services on Sundays through March 27, or contact Sister Mildred Heyward, chairman of the pastoral anniversary committee.
