2019 Women’s Spring Retreat

Speaker Bio
Laurie Register executive director-treasurer of South Carolina Woman’s Missionary Union serving as the executive officer with responsibility for administration, program, and development of the work of Woman’s Missionary Union in South Carolina.
A native of Alachua, Florida, she came to South Carolina in August of 1993 to join the South Carolina WMU® staff. She has served in several roles, assuming her current role in January, 2009.
While a college student, Laurie served two semesters in Vermont. She continues to be involved in volunteer missions having served on five of the seven continents!
In addition to missions, Laurie enjoys traveling, bowling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Laurie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Schedule:
Friday:
- Registration: 4:00-6:30pm (If you have a large group, you may want to send just a few ladies to check in so that you can get to your lodging more quickly.)
- Dinner: 6:30 pm
Saturday:
- Breakfast: 8:00 am (If you are joining us for Saturday only, registration will be in the Fellowship Hall after breakfast, so please join us in the Dining Hall for breakfast first.)
- Closing: 3:00 pm
Housing Costs:
Prices per person and based on double occupancy. Includes room and 3 meals.
- Cabins – $75 per person
- White Pines: $75 per person
- Timbers: $80 per person
Commuter Costs (Includes meals for 1 day or 2 days):
- Commuter 1-Day (Friday OR Saturday): $40 (please specify Friday or Saturday when you register)
- Commuter 2-Days (Friday AND Saturday): $50
Reservation deadline:
February 28, 2019. No rooms can be held without payment.
Cancellations:
Refunds will be given until March 1, 2019. After that time, substitutions can be made.
