Breakout Sessions (Click to open)

Displaced – Darline Ballou & Sarah Sheidy
“Refugee.” The very word evokes strong emotions. These emotions cross the spectrum from pity, doubt, and fear to love, compassion, and benevolence. How does your faith community respond? In this breakout conference, you will learn the basics about the life of a refugee, your role as a Christian, and how you can affect change while participating in a real life simulation of REFUGEE LOSS.

Bless These Hands – Mary Reeb
“Bless these hands that are raised to You, oh Lord. Bless them to do Your work and glorify Your Name.” In this breakout conference, you will experience a time of prayer and anointment with oil on your hands to be wholly used by God in many different ways and ministries. You do not want to miss this special time of anointing your hands for Kingdom work.

Who Me? Yes You! You have Beautiful Feet! – Charmaine Eyeguokan
Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!'” In this breakout conference on global missions, you will learn about one ministry’s quest to win the nations for Christ and reasons why everyone should willingly participate in Global Missions. You will also converse with missionaries who have participated on global mission trips to Africa, Central American, the Caribbean, etc.

Sister-to-Sister: Steps for Creating a Successful Women’s Mentoring Ministry – Linda Stewart
Are you interested in creating a mentoring ministry in your church to teach and guide the next generation of Christian women as instructed in Titus 2:3-5? In this breakout conference, you will learn about (1) mentoring responsibilities, (2) key practices for planning, developing and sustaining a mentoring ministry and (3) hear personal testimonies from Sisters who have been blessed immeasurably by God’s work through their mentoring relationships.

Women of the Word-How to Study the Bible with Both our Hearts and Our Minds – Melody Knox
Most women come to faith in God on a very little information. If we want a deeper love for God, we must learn to see Him more clearly for who He is. If we want to feel deeply about God, we must learn to think deeply about God. In this breakout conference, we will learn the 5 P’s (purpose, perspective, patience, process and prayer) that will challenge us to truly become Women of the Word.

A Simple Gift – Connie Zinn
Ever hear how a simple shoebox could lead to 11 million children hearing the Gospel? Come and enjoy hearing how a simple gift is changing the lives of children around the world. Samaritan’s Purse uses shoebox gifts to share the message of Jesus throughout the world. In this breakout conference you will enjoy seeing the faces of children as they receive a shoebox (and maybe the only gift in their life).

Helping Kids Think Missionally – June Holland
—What Does Missionally Mean?
—Follow these 3-Step Process… “L & L & O”

Are You Pruned? – Dale Jones
John 5:15 — Pruning a vine ensures that non-fruit bearing wood is not wasting valuable nutrients that would otherwise directed toward fruit bearing. Proper care of the vine requires getting rid of dead wood. Is there dead wood that keeps you from being connected to the TRUE VINE.
