Healthy Leaders for Healthy Churches

Topic: Leading An Organization: “Chess Not Checkers.”

The early days of an organization are like checkers: a quickly played game
with interchangeable pieces.

As the organization expands, you have to think strategically
and plan ahead—that’s chess. Leaders who continue to play checkers
when the name of the game is chess, LOSE.

If you consistently make the moves presented in this seminar, over time,
you will position your organization to WIN! Take time to learn how to be a better leader.

The material presented in these sessions is built off of the leadership training strategies of Mark Miller, the Vice President of High-Performance Leadership for the Chick-Fil-A corporation. Mark is the author of 8 best-selling leadership books and is a Christ-follower. The material is designed to assist both pastoral staff, leading a local Church, as well as Christ-followers who lead in their business or industry.

We will be joined by Pastor Jay Vineyard who will discuss various principles that will help people in their ability to lead organizations effectively.
