Imago Dei: Maryland/Delaware Prayer for Human Dignity

The Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware-sponsored second annual “Prayer for Human Dignity,” which will begin at 4 p.m. on March 12, at First Baptist Church, Eastport. The service precedes the Maryland March for Life, which begins at 6:30 p.m. nearby at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and ends at Lawyer’s Mall at 100 State Circle, Annapolis.
Glenn Swanson, pastor of Bayside Baptist Church, Chesapeake Beach, and his wife, Sherri, will share about their church’s “James one27 Orphan Care” ministry, how God directed them to start the outreach, and how He is using the ministry to change and bless families and for His glory.
Sharon Mager, BCM/D communications specialist/writer for BaptistLIFE, will also share a brief testimony about her crisis pregnancy experience in the late 70’s and God’s healing power in her life.
BCM/D Executive Director Kevin Smith will lead the time of prayer and praise.
There is a small parking area at FBC, Eastport, as well as limited on-street parking. There are also several parking garages in the area, including the Noah Hillman Garage, closer to St. Mary’s Church at 150 Gorman St, Annapolis, and Gott’s Court Garage, closer to Lawyer’s Mall, at 25 Northwest Street, Annapolis, among others.
