Pastor Date Night
September 27, 2018@6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Event Navigation

The purpose of LifeWay’s Pastor Date Nights is to help pastors win at church and home. Since the health of the church is tied to the health of the pastor, we want to help pastors finish strong later by helping them stay healthy now. How can we possibly “turn the world upside down” if our own worlds are upside down?
These free two-hour events include a great meal, approximately $300 of LifeWay resources, childcare, and a ton of encouragement. After supper, a discussion panel with two seasoned, ministry couples—including Dan and Judie Hyun of the Village Church in Baltimore, as well as Mark and Janet Dance of LifeWay Christian Resources—will answer Great Commandment questions about a pastor’s walk with God, spouse, kids, staff, and church. The questions are texted anonymously, which keeps the discussion fun, raw, and interesting.
What former attendees have said
It was absolutely refreshing!!! I’m grateful for all of the hard work and energy that was poured into this event. Thank you for helping make this happen.
Wow, talk about a memory! Indeed! My wife had so much fun and was filled with encouragement.
Thank you for your honest panel answers to questions about time management, pastors’ wives, depression, and many more topics.
Thanks so much for the Pastor Date Night last night. My wife and I were driving home and talking about different points of encouragement and specifically thinking about reaching out to an older couple as mentors.
Thank you so much for the Pastor Date Night. We enjoyed the evening immensely. The gift of the books and goodies were so generous and thoughtful.
If LifeWay is trying to help pastors feel valued and to help them stay in the ministry, you’re on your way to doing a great job! You hit it out of the park!
Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. And the free resources! It was such an encouraging night.
