The Church Planting Team will host a seminar for planters and pastors to help them create and cultivate; church, leadership, and church financial sustainability. This workshop is designed to help planters/pastors avoid the landmines and overcome the obstacles to sustainability. For those attending and completing the seminar, there will be a limited amount of grants available to help them pursue sustainability.

Speakers

Michael Crawford leads the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware’s church multiplication “squad,” that seeks to discover, develop and deploy church planters through church planter assessment and ongoing church plant support.
He works continually to enhance and streamline church planting procedures, and he is a strong advocate and voice for the planters and for the established churches that support them.

Clint Clifton is the founding pastor of Pillar Church. Clint and his wife Jennifer have been married since 2000 and have four children Noah, Ruthe, Isaiah, and Moses. The Cliftons are also in the process of adopting two children from Haiti. Clint served as a church planter and associate pastor at several churches in the Southeast before planting Pillar Church. Clint holds a B.A. from The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, FL and an M.A. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. Clint oversees the church planting efforts of Pillar Church and serves as the director of “Send DC,” the North American Mission Board’s effort to start new churches at major North American cities.
