Skycroft Conference Center, a year-round, Christian camp and retreat center, seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all Skycroft buildings, grounds and systems of the physical plant. To accomplish this, the Facilities Manager supervises and directs the maintenance, grounds keeping and housekeeping teams in addition to providing general administration for the facilities department. This management position occasionally works with retreat groups in a hospitality setting.
The ideal candidate is a Christian who understands ministry as a lifestyle and hospitality as a calling. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance or campus facility management, including the supervision of labor. Other essential qualifications include skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and finish work and knowledge of practices, materials and equipment commonly used in building trades.
