Senior Pastor Opening – Colesville Baptist Church, founded in 1961, located in Silver Spring, MD, a suburban community, conveniently located near all the historical, cultural, educational, commercial and recreational resources of the nation’s Capital, Baltimore-Washington corridor and Virginia suburbs.
Background – CBC is a diverse body of Christ in cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware and the Montgomery Baptist Association. We are well respected and actively participate in the region’s Coalition of Churches (C-4) which is committed to serving those in need in our community.
Qualifications – We are seeking a Pastor who is faithful in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Baptist Faith and Message, who is preferably a Southern Baptist Seminary graduate with at least five years pastoral experience. A servant of God who practices compassionate pastoral care in coordination with church membership and leads by direction of the Holy Spirit and prayer to equip and empower the church to fulfil the Great Commission.
