Activities include games and arts/crafts for the children and seminars (on the topics of marriage and single parenting) for the adults, followed by a picnic lunch and recreation for the whole family.

The purpose of the event is to experience Help through a network of professionals and other parents, experience Happiness through laughter with others, and experience Hope through Jesus Christ.

“Our heart is to offer an event that provides an opportunity for families that have children with special needs to be strengthened through the love of Christ,” shared Danielle Dubois, event planner. “It is also to provide an opportunity for families to receive support from the body of Christ as they enjoy the day together.”

Camp Barnes is located on a lake, so there is plenty opportunity for fishing, canoeing and crabbing to be done during free time. A worship service in the late afternoon will close out the day’s events.

The cost is $50 per family. Please bring a picnic lunch. Register online here.
