Last year, 45 students were able to attend these ministry classes. We’re so thankful for your prayers and support through the BCM/D State Missions Offering and the Cooperative Program!
Students can choose from three certificates: Biblical Ministry, Church Planting and Pastoral Ministry. Classes are offered in eight-week modules.
The following classes are required for all three certificates:
- Introduction to New Testament Study – 1
- Introduction to New Testament Study – 2
- Introduction to Old Testament Study – 1
- Introduction to Old Testament Study – 2
- Baptist Doctrine /Theology
- Evangelism
CHURCH PLANTING
To provide training for pastors and church leaders in church planting.
- Introduction to Preaching
- Developing Leaders in the Church
- Hermeneutics
- Church Planting
To provide supplemental training for ministers in the areas of pastoral work, doctrine, biblical interpretation, and Christian education.
- Introduction to Preaching
- Introduction to Christian Education
- New Testament Bible Course OR Old Testament Bible Course (Exegesis)
- Discipling Church Members
Students interested in earning a Diploma in Theology must complete all three certificates, in addition to the two mandatory workshops, Worship Perspectives and Apologetics.
