BOWIE, Md.—Cresthill Baptist Church will welcome Christian singer/ songwriter/actress Jamie Grace in concert at 7 p.m. on July 8, as part of her #BestFriendsTour, designed to allow her to do small VIP-style concerts with her biggest fans.
Originally from Atlanta, Grace has four number one singles, and she’s garnered Grammy and Billboard nominations, multiple Dove nominees and a Dove award for “New Artist of the Year.” Her third album,“’91” was released in September 2017 and quickly soared to #1 on the Christian & Gospel Charts.
Grace has a passion for reaching children to encourage them to persevere in life. She was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome when she was 11, but with dedication and persistence, she moved forward. At age 14, she created YouTube channels for her music and for her organizations, “ImAFighter,” and the “Jamie Grace Foundation,” which advocate for children and families.
The popular YouTube channels opened the door for her to be signed to a major record label. She later joined “The Revolve Tour,” by Women of Faith, as a keynote speaker.
Last year, she launched “LoveWill.net,” an extension of The Jamie Grace Foundation, as a way to advocate for children in foster care.
When Grace is not on tour or recording, she co-hosts the food & lifestyle podcast “On The Plate Again,” with her sister Morgan, as well as “The Jamie Grace Show,” and the podcast, “God Girl’s Club,” a weekly mini-devotional for young girls and their families.
Tickets are available online.
