YOUTH & CHILDREN’S PASTOR (FT or PT) — Olney Baptist Church is seeking an Associate Pastor to lead our youth ministry (6th-12th grade) and coordinate and support our children’s ministries (birth-5th grade). We are looking for someone with solid biblical knowledge, leadership skills, high moral character and a heart and passion for children and youth. The Youth & Children’s Pastor will also assist with outreach, assimilation of new families, counseling and visitation. He should enjoy building relationships (with teenagers, children, and their parents), have strong communication and organizational skills and be prepared to recruit, equip and support lay leaders. WORSHIP LEADER (PT) – Olney Baptist Church is looking for a talented musician to lead our Praise Team and facilitate our Sunday morning services. Candidate must be a born again believer in Jesus Christ, preferably with a Baptist or at least theologically conservative, evangelical background. Candidate should also be a gifted singer with a strong voice able to engage and lead the gathered body in communal, participatory, Christ-centered worship. We’re also looking for someone able and willing to lead worship with a variety of music styles (i.e., worship, praise, traditional, contemporary, hymns and gospel). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as leader must be a team player who can build and maintain a praise team and engender the commitment of team members to further the Gospel of Christ.
