Installation Service
Sycamore Hill Church, Wilmington, in De., had an installation service on Feb. 17 for their pastor, DuAne Davis and his wife, Sonya.
DuAne, who began his ministry at Sycamore Hill’s Wilmington campus in January, grew up in a Christian home in Philadelphia and made a confession of faith when he was seven at Shalom Baptist Church.

He graduated from Bloomsburg University, in Pa., with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Human Services from Lincoln University, in Pa., followed by a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Urban Leadership from Biblical Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.
DuAne served individuals and families in Philadelphia and the surrounding communities for two decades working in the fields of education and human services.
God called him to Gospel ministry in 2008 and DuAne began serving as an associate minister of the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa. He went on to serve as a campus pastor of a ministry which served families and individuals facing poverty and homelessness in the Philadelphia area.
He responded to a call to minister at the Sycamore Hill Church’s Wilmington campus in 2018 and began his ministry there in January.
Sonya has worked in the information technology field for 20 years. The couple has a nineteen-year-old daughter, Asha.

Mountain Anthem
Music Group
Second Baptist Church, in Cumberland, Md., will host “The Mountain Anthems,” a four-part acapella group from Salisbury, Pa., at 10:30 a.m. on April 14. The group will receive a free-will collection.
Summer Intern Opportunities
Ocean City Baptist Church, in Md., has summer intern opportunities for Christians 18 to 25 to serve at the beach. Through the summer they will help throughout the summer in ministry outreach to international students, children, tourists, first responders, and local residents.

Easter Happenings

.The Ball Brothers will be in concert at LaVale Baptist Church on April 19.
LaVale Baptist Church in Cumberland, Md., will have a baptismal service during their 10:45 a.m. Palm Sunday worship service, followed by a luncheon and egg hunt. On April 18, the church will host a men’s dinner, followed by a Maundy Thursday service. They will welcome “The Ball Brothers” in concert at 7 p.m. on April 19.
On Resurrection Day they will gather for a 7 a.m. sunrise service, weather permitting, followed by an Easter Cantata at 10:45 a.m.
Redemption Church, in Arnold, Md., is encouraging members to buy and wear “More Than a T-Shirt” Redemption Church shirts for Easter. The funds raised will support the church’s upcoming mission trip to Reykjavik and Akureyri, Iceland, in August. The mission team will support local church plants in the area.
