You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Bethany Church calls Minister of Students

Austin Williams and his wife, Sarah

Bethany Church, in Ellicott City, Maryland, called Austin Williams to the position of minister of students in August.

Williams was born into and grew up in a Christian home near Atlanta, Georgia, and his father led him to Christ in 2000. Shortly after graduating from high school, he attended a Student Life Camp in Shocco Springs, Alabama, where he accepted the call into ministry.

Since then, Williams has served in student, collegiate, and young professional ministries, as well as a local apartment outreach ministry.

He graduated earlier this year with his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina

Ordination

West End Baptist Chapel in Hagerstown, Maryland, ordained Randy Williams to the Gospel Ministry on September 8. Williams, a member of WEBC, is the manager of LifeWay Christian Store in Hagerstown, Maryland.

While sharing about God’s calling to ordination, Williams said he has been ministering many years, especially among teens and children.
Through that experience and his job at LifeWay, Williams said he has felt led to move forward with ordination. “God has been drawing me more and more to the need in the local church, especially in the area of discipleship,” he said. Friends began encouraging Williams to consider ordination. “As I prayed and talked to others, I realized that this was where God was calling me.”

Fall Back into Love

White Marsh Baptist Church in Perry Hall, Maryland, will have their annual “Fall Back Into Love” outdoor concert from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 28. Instrumentalists and singers will share a variety of love songs spanning the decades.
During the concert, WMBC Senior Pastor Dave Tierney will share a short message about the love of Jesus and invite attendees to visit the church. The evening will close with praise and worship music. Church members use the opportunity to invite friends and neighbors.
All are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and some snacks for a fun time of fellowship. WMBC members will serve drinks and popcorn.
