Women’s Conference
Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, in Lutherville, Maryland, will host a women’s retreat, “Broken and Spilled Out,” on Oct. 25-26. The retreat will feature speaker Faith Boehmer, a member of Lafayette Baptist Church in North Carolina. She is a Sunday school teacher and works for a child advocacy center in North Carolina.

Outreach Events
Emmanuel Church in Huntingtown, Maryland, will hold several outreach events in September.
Hosanna Wong, author and spoken word artist, will share at the church at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 and at the 9 and 10:45 a.m. worship services on Sept. 15.
On Sept. 14, the church will have its annual car show. Car, truck, and bike owners are eligible to win prizes. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a variety of food and games. The event is free, and all are welcome.
Gospel Conversation Training
Haven City Church in Baltimore will have a “Gospel Conversation Training” seminar at the Fells Point Compassion Center from 8:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 14. The newly revised edition of Gospel Conversation Training uses the “411” method — 4 questions, one sheet of paper, one hour. The training is designed to provide participants with the skills and confidence to share the Gospel and begin disciple-making. The training is free, but registration is requested by Sept. 7 in order to secure a seat. Lunch will be provided.
Open House/Anniversary
Olney Baptist Church in Maryland will have their “Open House Sunday,” on Sept. 15 and

Justin Wycoff is the associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Brunswick
launch their two-service format, with worship at 9 and 11 a.m. This day is also the church’s 42nd anniversary, and Pastor Brian Tubbs’ tenth anniversary ministering at the church. Pastor Tubbs says the church will celebrate what God has done through the years at OBC and they’ll look forward with excitement to what is ahead.
New Church Staff
First Baptist Church of Brunswick in Maryland, welcomed Justin Wycoff as their associate pastor of family ministries. Wycoff will serve in the areas of children, youth, and collegiate ministry. He is from Pueblo, Colorado, and previously served in youth ministry in Knoxville, Tennessee.
