MIDDLE RIVER, Md.—Marquis Laughlin will share a dramatic recitation of the Gospel of John at Middle River Baptist Church on April 9 at their 10:30 am and 5:30 pm services.

Laughlin, founder of Acts of the Word, is a performing artist and missionary, presenting dramatic Bible presentations, focusing on God’s relationship with man. He shares passages from Genesis, Ecclesiastes, Daniel, Acts, Revelation and John’s Gospel.

The church hosted Laughlin last year. “It was awesome and very powerful,” Josh Fields, the MRBC’s youth pastor said. Fields said Laughlin incorporates music and sound effects to enliven the performances.

Laughlin will recite the first half of the Gospel in the morning and conclude the book in the evening.

Fields said the Palm Sunday timing of the presentation is perfect.
