ROCKVILLE, MD—Montrose Baptist Church, 5100 Randolph Road, will host the annual Montgomery Baptist Association Fall Revival at 7:30 nightly Oct. 18-20.

Dr. Robert M. Smith, Jr., professor of Christian Preaching at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Ala., will be the guest speaker. Montgomery Association churches will provide music throughout the revival. Childcare through kindergarten will be provided.

Gayle Clifton, pastor of Upper Seneca Baptist Church said the annual revival has been growing. This year, they’re combining the revival with the annual MBA meeting, on Sunday, Oct. 20. The MBA business session will be at 5 pm, followed by a light supper and revival service.

“I am absolutely thrilled that God has led Dr. Robert M. Smith, Jr. to be the guest speaker for our 2013 Montgomery Baptist Association Fall Revival! A little over two years ago, I had it on my heart to invite Dr. Smith to be with us for our associational revival. I had become acquainted with him through several special training events of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association that I had attended and for which he was one of the guest leaders. His preaching had spoken to my heart and had touched my life greatly,” Clifton wrote in an email.
