OCEAN CITY, Md.—Ocean City Baptist Church (OCBC) has a record-breaking 321 players in their Upward Soccer program this fall and is drawing over 1,200 people to their property every weekend. Pastor Sean Davis said he’s excited that his church gets 11 weeks to connect with people, get to know them, invite them to OCBC, and share the love of Jesus.

On November 1, they’ll have an end-of-year closing ceremony at the Ocean City Convention Performing Arts Center. They’re having an illusionist perform while sharing the Gospel with over 1,000 people. The Upward program has brought new people to the church.

“This Sunday we had three new families from Upward attend our church. Last year I had 10 to 20 new families attend our church because of Upward and five of them got involved. One friend came to Christ and is getting baptized soon. It’s been fun to be a part of,” Davis said.
