SILVER SPRING, Md.—Asian Churches throughout Maryland/Delaware will gather for prayer and worship at the annual Asian Concert of Prayer, beginning at 5:30 pm on Sept. 8 at Hahnuri Baptist Church. The event is sponsored by the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware.Asian Concert of Prayer2-300

The annual “concert” begins with worship music and is followed by a series of prayers offered by pastors who pray in their 11 different native tongues. They pray for repentance, spiritual awakening, church renewal and kingdom growth. They pray for church planters and church plants and for God’s mercy and blessings.

“This year we will have more church planters than any previous year,” Robert Kim, BCM/D Asian church planting/evangelism missionary said. As part of the prayer time, church planters will be brought to the front for prayer.

There are now Korean, Chinese, Mongolian and Thai church plants.

The evening will conclude with a time of fellowship. For more information, contact Kim, rkim@bcmd.org.
