RICHMOND, Va.–The International Mission Board (IMB) has partnered with YouVersion to develop a Bible reading plan that leads readers to “Pray Your Way Around the World.”
The YouVersion Bible app, accessible on mobile devices and desktop computers, offers hundreds of daily Reading Plans provided by a variety of ministries and organizations.
In this plan, IMB leads participants on an 11-day journey around the world to learn about people and places in need of the Gospel of Jesus. Through scripture, readers will discover God’s passion for every nation and people group to experience his love.
It’s IMB’s hope that readers will learn and pray for others around the world and will grow a deeper desire to see Christ praised both in their own communities and among the nations.
On the first day’s reading, IMB writes, “We at the International Mission Board recognize the urgency and significance of the Great Commission. As such, we are committed to partnering with churches in order to take the life-changing love of Christ to unreached peoples and places around the world.
“We invite you to journey with us on this eleven-day reading plan to learn about different cultures around the world. Let’s pray our way around the globe, remembering our Christ-appointed mission to help others come to know him.”
