COLUMBIA, Md.—Reginald Davis will serve as Creative Director for the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCM/D) effective Sept. 24.

Reginald Davis, his wife LeKiesha, and their four children will relocate from Kentucky to Maryland. Reginald will assume the position of Communications Creative Director, on Sept. 24.

The BCM/D General Mission Board’s administrative committee recently approved the new position. Davis will collaborate with the staff and ministry leaders to develop and implement communications strategies and help with branding. He’ll also work to promote the Cooperative Program (CP) throughout Maryland/Delaware churches.

A multidisciplinary creative with a design studio, Davis has been a creative director, graphic designer, consultant, and instructor since his graduation from Sullivan College of Technology & Design in 2002.

Davis, who grew up in Louisville, met his wife, LeKiesha, through a mutual friend. They will celebrate thirteen years of marriage in November. Reginald and LeKiesha were members of Watson Memorial Church (WBC), where after hearing the Gospel “explicitly taught,” both became believers. “We both really grew and matured,” Reginald said. They later served together at Forest Baptist Church, leading a marriage ministry.

The couple now homeschools their children, ages nine, six, four and two. LeKiesha left a career as a social worker in the school system to teach the children and care for their home.

In their spare time, they enjoy dating and watching their children play sports—soccer, baseball, and basketball.

The family will relocate to Maryland. They’ll be traveling from Kentucky, arriving in the Columbia area on Sept. 22.

“We look forward to meeting new people, and growing in our faith…and eating good seafood,” Reginald said.  “We’re trusting the Lord, and where he has us.”
