Family Fun Missions topic-based studies have been developed to be dropped into any existing ministry for families. Lesson descriptions are below:

Creative Camping
The goal of this lesson is to help adults create positive family camping experiences and to identify the missions application of camping.

Camping is one of the great minefields of family fun. Whether camping resembles a field of landmines or a field of dreams, camping features a get away from electronics and schedules. abraham proposes a biblical context for creative camping, since the great biblical patriarch learned some of his greatest lessons outdoors.

Family Missions
The purpose of this lesson is to lead adults to prioritize and to plan short-term mission trips with their families.

Going on mission for Christ as a family is one of the ways that the nuclear family can model the family of God in Jesus Christ. Two very different families in the new Testament serve as examples for ways to share joy, fellowship, and Christ.

Follow or Flounder
The goals of this lesson are to lead adults to discover and use creative arts skills with their families on mission and to help them plan creative-arts initiatives that include opportunities to share the gospel.

Families on mission for God follow Christ’s direction, or they flounder in making an impact for the kingdom. in Exodus 31, God gave Bezalel charge over the arts and crafts for the tabernacle. Bezalel and his team constructed the elaborate, costly vessels for the tent of meeting, the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, and the priests’ woven vestments. Excellent craftsmen implement the father’s creative mantra: all things done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).

Time To Rest
The goal of this lesson is to lead adults to prioritize and to plan short-term mission trips with their families.

Families on mission for God take time to “be still and know” that He is God (Psalm 46:10). Consider some ways that you can take your family on vacation as a retreat with the lord and minister to the people whom you encounter as you travel.
