SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Rockbridge Seminary has been granted accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council, the global leader in distance learning accreditation, located in Washington, D.C.
The DETC is listed by the United States Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). DETC accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in distance education.
Rockbridge Seminary, a fully online graduate school, was founded in 2003 to develop servant leaders for Christian ministry through learning experiences that allow them to study and practice without leaving their ministry field.
The non-denominational school offers a Master of Ministry Leadership degree and a Master of Divinity degree, as well as a Diploma in Ministry Studies.
Faculty members are not only academically qualified to teach, but also serve in a variety of ministry roles providing students with real-world experiences that help them develop as ministry leaders.
“Our students receive practical ministry training, leadership skills, and theological knowledge that prepare them for a rapidly changing world,” said Sam Simmons, chief learning officer. The seminary enrolls students worldwide.
