“If Christianity were true and it meant you had to give up everything to follow God, would you want to know the truth?” That’s the question best-selling author and apologist Nabeel Qureshi had to answer and it led him to Jesus.
In a Nov. 2 simulcast, “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus,” leading apologist, Lee Strobel and Christian author and speaker Mark Mittelberg will present a two-hour presentation featuring Qureshi.
Qureshi was a devout Muslim. He finished the Q’oran by the time he was five-years-old and had memorized the last seven chapters so he could recite them during the Islamic practice of praying five times daily. In college, Qureshi was challenged to question his faith and to consider the truth about Jesus. Qureshi came to faith in Christ.
The presentation is designed to help churches gain insight in Islamic worldview and Muslim apologetics, and teach them how to defend the Gospel fully with knowledge, kindness and grace.
Simulcasts are from 7 to 9 pm on Nov. 2. Several network churches will be participating including North Arundel Church, Glen Burnie Church; Gethsemane Baptist Church, and Calvary Baptist Church, Bel Air Church. Others may be added before the event.
