Location Severna Park Baptist Church is preparing to serve as a “Relay Center” collection point for Operation Christmas Child.
You can drop off your gift-filled shoeboxes during the week of November 14-21 at Severna Park Baptist Church, 506 Benfield Road, Severna Park, MD:
• Nov 14 – 9:30-11:30am;
• Nov15 – 4:00-7:00pm;
• Nov 16 – 9:30-11:30am;
• Nov 17 – 4:00-7:00pm;
• Nov 18 – 4:00-6:00pm;
• Nov 19 – 10:00am-1:00pm;
• Nov 20 – 12:30-3:00pm;
• Nov 21 – 9:30-11:00am.
Here’s how you can get involved:
(1) Enlist families, churches, scout troops, community groups and businesses to take part in creating shoe box gifts for needy children worldwide.
(2) Fill shoe boxes with school supplies, toys, necessity items, hard candy, letter of encouragement and packed with prayers. Step-by-step shoe box packing instructions are available at www.samaritanspurse.org.
(3) SPBC is looking for volunteers, for the week November 14-21, during the above listed times, to be available at SPBC to assist in the collection of shoe-boxes. Contact the church office if interested and we will provide further details as the dates get closer.
(4) SPBC is also looking for someone who is willing to donate the use of a box-truck for that week, in order to transport boxes to Davidsonville, MD.
