COLUMBIA, Md. — Somer Phoebus serves as ministers’ wives consultant, providing opportunities to strengthen fellowship among ministers’ wives and to encourage and resource them. “My entire goal in partnering with the BCM/D is to strengthen our churches and stir women up to good works,” Phoebus said.
She is passionate about discipleship in the local church and helping women step boldly into their God-given gifts and callings. Phoebus is the co-founder of She Works His Way, a non-profit discipleship community for working women. She has spent more than a decade coaching and consulting female business owners and ministry teams, and she is the co-author of “She Works His Way: A Practical Guide for Doing What Matters Most in a Get Things Done World.”
Somer is married to Kent Phoebus, a pastor at South Shore church in Annapolis. They have two daughters, Kennedi and Ava.
Her favorite place to be is on the water or in the city, and if you bookend either of those days with good coffee and great tacos, she’s very happy.
She is available to meet with pastor’s wives, women’s ministry leaders (whether you have that title or not but feel called to love and lead women in your church), or any female who feels called to do more for the glory of God and the good of others.
