He/She will facilitate worship services that are best described as multi-sensory encounters with God, utilizing new, current and traditional music, as well as visual graphics. PART-TIME CHOIR DIRECTOR—The Calverton Baptist Church in Silver Spring, Md., is seeking a salaried part-time Choir Director. The position requires an experienced, gifted leader who enjoys leading, directing and providing choral ministry. It includes rehearsing and directing the Choir for Sunday morning worship services and other seasonal celebrations. All candidates must be able to articulate clearly a faith relationship with Jesus Christ and to subscribe personally to the Baptist Faith and Message Statement. He or she will also be expected to become a member of our church. A bachelor degree with music emphasis (preferred). A history of involvement in choral direction.
