The Inner Harbor Ministry Board of Directors recently appointed Mike Weldon, a member of First Church, Lansdowne, as Interim Director Elwood Ulmer’s assistant.

Ulmer said there are men and women who are turning to Christ as a result of IHM.

The next step is getting them involved in local churches.

The ministry has many needs. You, your church or small group can help in many ways:

• One of the biggest needs is table ministry—men and women to come and talk to those who come for food, getting to know them, praying for them and sharing the Gospel as the Holy Spirit leads.

• There are various seasonal needs. Ulmer said, as of this writing, he needs gloves, hats, socks, and children’s underwear. Hygiene kits are always needed.

• Non-perishables are always needed.

• Gift cards to Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and other stores

• Assistance leading Bible studies

• Newsletter assistance

Last year over 8,200 meals were served to over 4,000 guests. The need is great.
